Scientific Program

Following the spirit of the previous meetings we envision a stimulating scientific event where scientists meet in one plenum to present & discuss all aspects of inorganic chemistry. There will be 8 plenary lectures, invited lecturers, a limited number of oral short communications and two poster sessions.

The following plenary lecturers have confirmed their attendance

Silvio Aime: Lanthanide-based probes for MR-molecular imaging investigations
Dipartimento di Chimica IFM, Università di Torino, Torino, Italy

Ernesto Carmona: Rearrangements of Ethers and Pyridines to Tp'Ir Carbenes by C-H Bond Activation Chemistry
Instituto de Investigaciones Quimicas, Departamento de Quimica Inorganica, CSIC, Universidad de Sevilla, Sevilla, Spain

Bernhard K. Keppler: Novel strategies to develop new antitumor active metal
Institut für Anorganische Chemie, Universität Wien, Wien, Austria

Jean-Marie Lehn: Self-Organization of Metallosupramolecular Entities: Design and Selection
Institut de Science et d'Ingénierie Supramoléculaires, Université Louis Pasteur, Strasbourg, France

Spyros P. Perlepes: In search of high-spin molecules and single-molecule magnets: where we are and where we go?
Department of Chemistry, University of Patras, Patras, Greece

Carlos C. Romao: Advances on the catalytic chemistry of cis-MoO2 derivatives: from oxidation to reduction
Instituto de Tecnologia Quimica e Biologica da Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Oeiras, Portugal

Sason Shaik: A tale of two states: From iron oxo diatomic to cytochrome P450 and other oxidation catalysts
The Lise Meitner-Minerva Center for Computational Quantum Chemistry, Institute of Organic Chemistry, The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel
